Description
The services and infrastructure supporting the needs of people aged 60 and over,
who may have increased impairment related to age. The increased life expectancy of the
population due to reduction in death rates in all ages (but particularly for people 45 and
over) has led to a need for advances in these services. 1999 is the
International Year of Older Persons (IYOP). |
