Description
Infertility is being unable to conceive after 12 months of regular unprotected
sexual intercourse. It affects around 15% of Australian couples of reproductive age.
Male and female factors are involved, and the causes may be related to the
production of sperm or eggs, hormonal or autoimmune disorders in males or females, as well
as problems with fallopian tubes, the uterus, endometriosis, or frequent miscarriage. |
