About This Site

Description
Australia is a large and geographically diverse country.  A significant number of people live outside metropolitan areas.  Rural communities include both country towns and their outlying areas, while remote communities are further isolated in both distance and services.  Rural health programs address the effects of these factors on the health of people in such settings.
